Frank Stief is a patent engineer and qualified mineralogist. After completing his studies at the Leibniz University of Hanover, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Mineralogy, specialising in crystallography. There he worked in the field of materials research and developed various materials and substances using a wide range of analysis and synthesis methods, e.g. magnetic resonance, optical spectroscopy, X-ray methods and their evaluation.
